YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

IN THE UK ALONE THE IMPACT THE CLOTHING INDUSTRY HAS ON THE ENVIRONMENT IS MONUMENTAL

A frightening 336,000 tonnes of used clothing is discarded each year in the UK. For great ideas on how to make changes in how you buy and reuse your clothes check out Love Your Clothes. Launched in 2014, the Love Your Clothes campaign was developed together with industry organisations to help change the way the UK consumers buy, use and dispose of their clothing.A staggering 30% of items in peoples' wardrobes have never been worn. In the UK alone the impact the clothing industry has on the environment is monumental. By buying secondhand you keep clothing in active use and continue its lifecycle - and make a big difference.

Wear your secondhand clothes with pride, tell people they are second hand with joy and give that item the love and attention it deserves.

In stead of fast fashion invest in little pleasures - plant seeds, bake a cake, buy a book or simply save it for a rainy day.
